Jim was a longtime resident of Rhea County, and of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Homer and Clara Opal Dillard Johnson Sr., his maternal Grand parents Floyd Elmer and Eva Marie Nelson Dillard and Paternal Grandparents Frank and Dora Jane Smith Johnson. One sister, Mona Ruth Robbins, one brother, Lloyd Johnson. Surviving are his children, Ashley(Jeremy) Martin and James Johnson all of Dayton. Six sisters, Cathy Lemacks of Chattanooga, Tn. Janie (Ben Harris) Johnson of Lenoir City, Tn. Jackie Hinkle of Chattanooga, Tn. Carol Mulkey of Dayton, Betty Jo Robbins of Dayton and Shirley and( Kenneth) Dyer of Dayton, Two Brothers, Thomas Johnson and Larry and (Rosie) Johnson all of Dayton. five Grandchildren, Scott Johnson, Lake Johnson, Maggie Johnson , Arizona Johnson, Matthew Martin. one niece, Caity Lemacks a nephew, Michael Johnson. several other nieces and nephews.
