MILDRED WAS A MEMBER OF THE MOUNTAIN VIEW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND JOHN COFER; PARENTS CLAUDE AND DORA BELL MEITZ SMITH; BROTHERS LUTHER, T.E. AND ROBERT SMITH; SISTER ANNA SPEARMAN. SURVIVORS INCLUDE HER DAUGHTER MARY HELEN WHITT (STEVE) OF SCOTTSBORO, ALABAMA; NIECES DOROTHY TURNER OF DAYTON AND MARGIE DUNLADY OF CHATTANOOGA; STEPSON DEAN COFER (LINDA) OF OOLTEWAH; STEPDAUGHTER NANCY SWAFFORD OF HIXSON; SEVERAL OTHER NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
