ARMETA WAS A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF RHEA CO., A MEMBER OF THE O.E.S. DAYTON CHAPTER FOR OVER 50 YEARS. SHE WORKED AT RED FOOD STORES FOR MANY YEARS, AND ATTENDED MT. VIEW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND JAMES W. "JIM" COCHRAN, PARENTS GEORGE AND RUTH BRANDON COOLEY, AND STEP MOTHER STELLA COOLEY.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE HER DAUGHTER SHIRLEY (DENNIS) UPCHURCH DAYTON, TN., SPECIAL DAUGHTER GAIL (RICHARD) SEXTON LAURINBURG, N.C. TWO BROTHERS -IN-LAW DONNY AND FRED COCHRAN, TWO SISTERS-IN-LAW GERALDINE "JERRI" (THOMAS) WALKER, NORA COCHRAN ALL OF DAYTON, TN. ONE GRANDCHILD, THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, AND SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
