My memories of Aileen are so many, that i would need a great big book to hold them.Her daughter Lynn. and I were sister-in-laws for many years, i loved Aileen ,she was so easy to love, her smile and her hugs each time I saw her were so sweet.This memory that I am about to share , we laughed about it for years. When Paul Lee Pugh and I got married may 30,1964, Aileen was there along with life long friend Lona Keylon, well as it happened,we had not decided which car to drive away in .so,we took Paul's cousin, Kenneth Baldwins car to create confusion, to make this long story short, Aileen and Lona drove the car that was already decorated with"Just Married" written all over it, they headed straight for the closest carwash they could find, after having to drive through downtown Dayton togeather.lol we have shared this memory so many times, and would still laugh about it today, I can see and hear her laughing ,now. I will never forget her, if you knew her , she would leave you with wonderful memories, just like I have.Aileen, I love you and will miss you, but hold you in my heart and your sweet family. Aileen, was such a wonderful neighbor to me when we lived up behind Shop Rite several years ago. She loved the Lord so much, and she would always lift me up. She really was a great inspiration to all of us, she certainly will be missed. I know she looked forward to going home. I am proud just to have known her. Sissie Bunch

Granny you was awesome in every way and I am going to miss you terribly but I know that you are where you wanted to be. They are so many good memories it is hard to just pick one. Gone out of sight but will never be forgotten because you left a part of you in my heart that I will cherish the rest of my days here. See you again one day. Love you lots.

I will never forget how proud she was of me when I told her I was graduating from pharmacy school on the President's List. She told me over and over again that she was so proud.

She made the best apple butter I have ever had. When she brought some to us for our Christmas gift last year, we ate an entire quart jar full in three days.

She thought Charlie and Mike were so funny. I will always remember her laughing out loud at Mike's "little man" that he made with his hand.

We miss you so much! But now you are home, and for that we are happy.

Granny made the best Coconut Cream pie I've ever tasted. My first memory of the pies was when we lived in Lupton City and Mom worked at Dixie Yarns. Granny had made a pie and there was two slices left, She told my cousin and I that when we got home we could eat it.

When I got home I saw that both pieces had been eaten and Granny saw how disappointed I was and she said that "From now on

Every holiday she would make pies there would be one Coconut Cream pie set to the side for me. The times I missed the holidays and I couldn't make it she still made one and sat it to the side.

When I was in Desert Storm she sent a message that as soon as I got home she would make me one even if it was summer! That was the best pie I ever ate. We just sat there and cried eating it together.

Holidays will never be the same without Granny and her Coconut Cream pies.
